Beneficence:
  • Do good
  • Dentist are to render competent and timely care in an effort to benefit the patient


Patient Autonomy
  • Self Governance
  • Dentists, are to treat patients according to the patient's desire and protect patient's confidentially.


Nonmaleficence
  • Do NO HARM
  • Dentists, are to keep skills and knowledge up to date and practice within their limits in order to protect the patients from harm.


Justice
  • Fairness
  • Dentists are to deal justly with patient, colleagues and society


Veracity
  • Truthfulness
  • Dentists are to be honest and trustworthy, communicating truthfully and without deception.
